When Belgrade (Serbia) was a border town

Vue de Belgrade de la confluence du Danube et de la Save depuis la ville de Zemun. Le traité de San Stefano (1878) consacra l’indépendance de la Serbie avec comme capitale Belgrade. La rive nord du Danube (où se trouve Zemun) resta à l’Autriche. Cette frontière tiendra jusqu’en 1914.
